Sedan mer än tjugo år tillbaka har FIREWIND trollbundit fans av tung musik med sin spännande blandning av hårdrock och power metal. Knivskarpa riff av Gus G, stora hooks och solon möter den karismatiska sångerskan Herbie Langhans (Avantasia, Radiant, Seventh Avenue, bland andra) otroliga sångfärdigheter.
Stand United innehåller nio helt nya låtar producerade med Dennis Ward (Magnum, Unisonic), samt en cover av 80-talets poprockklassiker ”Talking in Your Sleep”, ursprungligen inspelad av The Romantics men med en metal-twist i stil med FIREWIND. Deras kommande studioerbjudande vittnar också om bandets stora entusiasm och lyriska ämnen som inte kunde vara mer relevanta.“I wouldn’t exactly call ‘Stand United’ a classic concept album, but the album title indicates what we’re about thematically,” Gus G, som också har bidragit med fler textidéer på den här än något album tidigare, sa tidigare. “This world seems to be getting more and more out of balance, what with environmental disasters, the pandemic, the wars currently raging all over the globe.
