DEF LEPPARD AND MÖTLEY CRÜE ANNOUNCED FOR COPENHELL 2023
After their immensely successful North American stadium tour, rock legends DEF LEPPARD and MÖTLEY CRÜE will embark on a 2023 world tour and visit COPENHELL for the very first time!
DEF LEPPARD are still today one of rock music’s driving forces 45 years after their career started in Sheffield, England. The band is famous for their ground-breaking rock music – and particularly two of the best-selling music albums ever, ‘Pyromania’ and ‘Hysteria’. Through decades, they have played absolutely unforgettable live shows with their abundance of classic hits, which have defined both older generations’ music taste and remain hugely popular among young people today.
The British quintet didn’t only turn big hair, headbands and spandex into defining heavy rock fashion back then; they also created several majestic songs with incredible staying power. The COPENHELL audience will definitely feel the wind in their hair when immortal songs like ‘Hysteria’, ‘Pour Some Sugar On Me’, ‘Rock of Ages’, ‘Photograph’, ‘Animal’ and not least the epic power ballad ‘Love Bites’ resound across the festival site with Joe Elliott’s unique voice.
The band released their 12th studio album early in 2022, the critically acclaimed ‘Diamond Star Halos’, which proved that the aging cats still have sharp claws – and they are ready to show them at COPENHELL 2023!
One of the greatest institutions of Los Angeles’ hard rock scene visit COPENHELL for the very first time when Vince Neil, Nikki Sixx, Tommy Lee and Mick Mars shout at the devil at COPENHELL 2023!Ever since the early 80s, MÖTLEY CRÜE have been an utterly uncontrollable wave of energy that ended up defining the sound, aesthetics and life style of an entire rock generation with their popular heavy glamrock from MTV’s heyday.
Just like many other rockstars, this colourful band has experienced turbulent periods in its great sex, drugs & rock’n’roll career – and survived with all four original band members on board. They are famous for their iconic live performances and an absolutely spectacular show, complete with Tommy Lee’s crazy rollercoaster drum kit and Nikki Sixx’ wacky flamethrower bass, and we look forward to an explosive experience on COPENHELL’s main stage next year!
Together, these two headliners have sold more than 200 million albums, produced a multitude of platinum albums and have remained at the top of rock for more than 40 years. COPENHELL’s audience can now look forward to enjoying countless beloved classic from two of the greatest rock bands ever.
